To fulfill our mission, we are placing emphasis on the research and development. We have state-of-the-art equipment such as CNC for the cutting of doors and the preparation of the jambs, a paint room and a thermoreactor oven, which reduce deadlines and increase the quality of our products

Melymax is a leader in Quebec. We now wish to expand our distribution network with the aim of serving the Eastern Ontario.

Melymax is a family business created in 1997. Founded by Mr. Jean Bergeron, the company started as subcontractor for a door manufacturer. In 2004, the company joined a window manufacturer in order to produce its own high-end steel doors.

Two years later, two new entrants joined the team with the acquisition of the company. That is how Mr. Stéphane Asselin and Mr. Mario Rondeau invested in sophisticated equipment to increase the quality of the products. They could then offer high quality steel doors with the greatest respect for their customers. Rapidly, Melymax acquired an enviable reputation that has enabled the company to grow exponentially

Since 2014, Mr. Asselin is the sole shareholder and operating owner of the company. He and his team are constantly working to develop even more performant products.

In 2016, Melymax invested more than $2 million to relocate its operations to Joliette allowing the company to double the size of the factory from 12 000 square feet to 24 000 square feet. Melymax is now ready to support an increase in sales without significant investments for years to come.
